Click the extension icon to bring a personal glass dock onto your current page. Search the library, open a local quick tool, or choose to launch the complete website workspace.

Chrome

Download Chrome Package

Download and extract the ZIP. Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder. Upgrading? Reload the extension from this new folder, then refresh your website tab. Updating browsertools.ai alone does not update an installed developer extension.

Chrome Web Store publication is pending. Keep the extracted folder in a permanent location.

Firefox

Download Firefox Package

Download and extract the ZIP. Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose Load Temporary Add-on, and select manifest.json in the extracted folder. Upgrading? Reload the extension from this new folder, then refresh your website tab. Updating browsertools.ai alone does not update an installed developer extension.

Firefox 142 or newer. Temporary add-ons are removed after restarting Firefox; permanent installation requires Mozilla signing.

A Dock That Fits Your Workflow

Your Preferred Edge

Choose Bottom or Top with left, center or right alignment, or a Left/Right Rail with top, center or bottom alignment. Small screens use a compact bottom dock.

Glass Or Frosted

Adjust frosting and surface opacity independently. Choose dark, light or system appearance. The glass uses browser-native blur and highlights without taking screenshots of the page.

Tools Over The Page

Local quick versions include text case, word counts, duplicate-line cleanup, JSON formatting, URL components, UTF-8 Base64 and slug generation. Copy or download results without leaving the page.

Your Library

Choose Custom Shortcuts, Favorites, Pinned or Recent. Import website Favorites or Pinned Tools backups, and export your dock settings. Website and extension storage remain separate.

Minimize & Restore

Collapse the dock to one small launcher. Search panels open beside the dock; Escape closes the panel. Alt+Shift+B invokes the extension.

Clear Website Handoff

Full-site tools show a notice first, with New Tab and New Window choices. No dock text is transferred. Protected pages show an explanation in the extension popup; they never silently open a replacement tab.

Activation & Privacy

Activate the dock on each page by clicking the extension icon. It does not automatically read every site, synchronize an account, or request all-sites access. Preferences persist; quick-tool text does not. Navigation or closing the dock clears that text. Use the standalone Text Workspace for sensitive content instead of an overlay on a website you do not trust.

These packages are developer previews, not store-approved releases. Chrome and Firefox use separate Manifest V3 background configurations. Native browser installation and cross-browser testing are required before public store submission. Local quick tools are focused versions; use the full website for advanced features.
