Merge PDF
Combine multiple PDF files into one, in any order — privately in your browser.
What Is the Merge PDF?
Merge PDF combines several PDF files into a single document. Add your files, drag them into the order you want, and download the merged PDF. Everything happens locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
How It Works
Drop or select two or more PDFs, reorder them with the up/down arrows, then click Merge. The combined PDF downloads instantly.
When to Use It
Use it to combine scanned pages, reports, invoices or chapters into one file before sharing or printing.
Practical Example
Combine a two-page cover document and a three-page appendix, placing the cover first. The result should contain five pages; check the transition between pages two and three as well as the first and last pages.
Check Your Result
- Arrange the files in reading order before merging. Page order inside each source document is retained.
- Open the downloaded PDF in another viewer and check page count, rotation, text and images.
- Keep the originals when they contain form fields, bookmarks, accessibility tags or digital signatures. A page-copy merge does not guarantee preservation of document-level features.
Limitations & Privacy
Merging does not OCR scanned pages or make their text searchable. Encrypted, damaged or very large PDFs may not load. Modifying a cryptographically signed document can invalidate its signature.
The merger reads and combines files locally in your browser rather than uploading their contents. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them. See the Privacy Policy for site-wide storage, optional analytics and external-service details.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are my files uploaded anywhere?
- No. Merging runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript — nothing is sent to a server, so even sensitive documents stay private.
- Is there a file limit?
- There's no fixed limit, but very large files use more memory since everything is processed on your device.
