What Is the Inventory & Moving Box QR Label Studio?

A private inventory workspace for moves, storage rooms, equipment cases, household contents and small-business assets. Each container can record contents, quantity, condition, value, location, status and handling notes. Its QR label carries a readable offline summary rather than depending on an account or hosted database.

How It Works

Name your project and add containers in the focused Details editor. Filter by room, packing status or handling flags; select multiple boxes to update status together. Duplicate similar containers, drag to reorder with Manual sort, and use Undo or Redo to recover edits. In Label, choose code-only, summary or detailed QR contents, label copies and print scope. Save locally or export JSON, CSV, Excel and PDF reports. JSON also restores older inventory projects.

When to Use It

Use it before packing, while loading a truck, when organizing storage, documenting equipment cases or preparing a basic insurance inventory. QR codes make a container identifiable without printing its full contents in large type.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the inventory stored?
The workspace stays in your browser. Save in Browser is device-local; JSON is the portable editable backup. No inventory or QR payload is uploaded.
What happens when a label is scanned?
The scanner shows plain text: either just the container code, a name-and-room summary, or detailed contents and notes, depending on your QR setting. Long details are shortened to fit. These are static labels, not cloud links; reprint after changes. Code-only labels require your inventory to look up their contents.
Can I print only certain boxes?
Yes. Print all containers, the current filtered list, or checked containers. Set one or two labels across, up to ten copies per container and whether contents appear beside the QR. The print dialog can also save a PDF. Color accents, Fragile and Open First flags help identify boxes.
Are the QR labels secure?
No. Anyone who scans one can read its embedded summary. Do not put alarm details, passwords, private addresses or other sensitive information in a label.
