What Is the Fasting Timer?

The Fasting Timer tracks a wall-clock interval from an editable start time, so tab sleep or a closed browser window does not make the schedule drift. It includes common 12- to 24-hour targets, a custom duration, optional completion chime, local session recovery, progress and a private saved-fast history.

How It Works

Choose the actual start time and a preset or custom target, then start the timer. End and save a completed interval to local history, clear or reset the active session when needed and export the saved log as PDF, CSV or text.

When to Use It

Use it only as a neutral time and history tool for a schedule you have already chosen. It does not prescribe fasting, diagnose health effects or replace individualized advice about nutrition, medication, pregnancy, eating disorders or medical conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will The Timer Keep Accurate Time In A Sleeping Tab?
Yes. It stores wall-clock timestamps and recalculates elapsed time, rather than depending on every one-second browser tick.
Where Is My History Stored?
Only in this browser's local storage. Export the history if you need a portable record before clearing browser data or changing devices.
