What Is the OpenAPI Specification Explorer?

Browse operations from an OpenAPI document without running an API or uploading its specification. Search paths, tags and descriptions; filter by HTTP method; inspect request bodies, responses, parameters, servers and global security requirements.

How It Works

Open an OpenAPI 3.x JSON file. Select an endpoint to inspect its operation object and combined parameter list. Export the selected operation as JSON/PDF or the filtered endpoint catalog as CSV/PDF. The example inventory API is fictional and is never contacted.

When to Use It

Use when inspecting local developer data or preparing configuration that needs review before production.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?
Open an OpenAPI 3.x JSON file. Select an endpoint to inspect its operation object and combined parameter list. Export the selected operation as JSON/PDF or the filtered endpoint catalog as CSV/PDF. The example inventory API is fictional and is never contacted.
What are the important limits?
Not a full OpenAPI validator or interactive API client. YAML, remote references and schema resolution are not supported; $ref values remain visible. Path and operation parameters are shown together, so review overrides. Up to 5,000 operations and 5 MB.
Where is my information stored?
Processing happens in your browser. These workspaces do not upload your inputs or send reports to a server. Session data is not automatically saved; download a project or report before closing. Keep sensitive exports private.
