What Is the MAC Address Inspector & Formatter?
Normalize MAC addresses, inspect local and multicast flags, and derive modified EUI-64.
How It Works
Paste a 48-bit address in colon, hyphen, dotted or compact HEX notation. Inspect its binary form, delivery type and assignment flags. Copy or export the result. Modified EUI-64 flips the local bit and inserts FF:FE; it does not predict your device’s actual IPv6 address. No vendor registry or network scan is included.
When to Use It
Network troubleshooting and documentation with explicit queries or local reference inspection.
