Study Time Calculator & Planner
Allocate study time by deadline and difficulty, place recommended sessions on a monthly calendar and run focused blocks with the built-in timer.
What Is the Study Time Calculator & Planner?
The Study Time Calculator builds an explainable allocation instead of giving every subject equal time. It reserves minimum commitments first, then weights the remaining hours by deadline urgency, difficulty, confidence gap and academic priority. Recommended sessions are distributed across a navigable monthly calendar, while a subject-aware focus timer runs the next work block without leaving the plan.
How It Works
Set the total time available and preferred session length, then add subjects with their deadline and ratings. Review the recommended hours, calendar placement and session counts, use the focus timer for a selected subject, and export the complete plan as CSV, text, PDF or a standards-friendly .ics calendar file.
When to Use It
Use it before an exam week, certification period, project deadline or any study cycle where several subjects compete for limited time.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Does The Closest Exam Always Get The Most Time?
- No. Urgency matters, but so do difficulty, confidence and the priority you set. This prevents an easy near-term test from automatically taking time away from a difficult high-priority subject.
- What If Minimum Hours Exceed My Budget?
- The minimum commitments are reduced proportionally so the plan never claims more time than you actually have.
- Does The Calendar Add Events Automatically?
- Nothing is sent to an account. Export the local .ics file and import it into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook or another compatible calendar when you are ready.
