What Is the Height Comparison Chart & Scale Studio?

A visual scale workspace for up to 20 people, characters, photos and reference objects. Every subject shares the same pixels per centimeter and ground line. The chart includes centimeter and feet/inch rulers, individual names and colors, adjustable widths, a height-difference summary and paper or midnight backgrounds. It is a comparison tool, not a body-proportion or health assessment.

How It Works

Add a person or reference object. Select a subject to enter a height such as 175 cm, 1.75 m, 69 in or 5'9". Choose Man, Woman or Child and a Slim, Average or Broad artistic build. Use cm or ft/in for chart labels. Drag the card handles to reorder, or focus a handle and use the up/down arrow keys. Use Sort and Undo in the chart toolbar; Duplicate is under More Options. Use the Photo tab to replace the selected subject with a cropped photo. Export PNG for sharing, SVG for design work or JSON to retain every editable setting and photo.

When to Use It

Create family height charts, compare fictional characters, prepare scale references for illustrations, or explain metric and imperial measurements in a classroom. Reference objects are examples, not standards for every country or product. Crop photos closely because their full image height is scaled to the entered measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Heights Drawn To Scale?
Yes. All heights use one shared linear scale. Silhouette widths are editable artistic proportions, not measurements inferred from height. Images include any whitespace in their original bounds.
Can I Share The Chart?
Copy Share Link creates a self-contained URL for charts without photos. Anyone receiving the link can read its names and heights. Use Export Project for photo charts. No account is required.
Are Photos Uploaded?
No. Photos are resized locally and stored in this browser with the chart. JSON project exports include the embedded photos; share them only with intended recipients.
What Are The Limits?
Up to 20 subjects, each from 1 to 1,000 cm tall. Input images must be PNG, JPEG or WebP under 10 MB. Projects are limited to 6 MB. Long charts scroll horizontally to keep figures readable.
