Sign PDF
Draw, type or upload a signature, position it on a PDF page and export a flattened signed copy locally.
What Is the Sign PDF?
Sign PDF places a visible electronic signature on an unlocked PDF without uploading the document. Create a signature by drawing it, typing it or importing a PNG/JPEG, choose the destination page, click or adjust its position and size, optionally add the signer name and date, then export a flattened PDF copy. A preview shows the placement before the file is generated.
How It Works
Import the PDF, choose Draw, Type or Upload and prepare the signature. Select the page, place the signature in the preview, adjust its size and optional name/date, and confirm the electronic-signature limitation notice. Export creates a new PDF with the visible mark embedded into the page. Keep an unmodified original and follow the recipient's signing requirements.
When to Use It
Use it when a recipient accepts an ordinary visible electronic signature on a PDF. For regulated, high-risk or identity-verified workflows, use an approved signing service that provides identity checks, consent records, timestamps and certificate-backed audit evidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Is This A Certificate-Based Digital Signature?
- No. It adds a visible flattened electronic signature image. It does not create a cryptographic PDF signature, verify identity, issue a certificate or provide an audit trail.
- Is An Electronic Signature Legally Valid?
- Requirements vary by country, document and transaction. The visible mark may be acceptable when the parties consent, but some documents require identity verification, witnesses, approved providers or certificate-based signing. Confirm the recipient and legal requirements.
- Can I Move The Signature Before Exporting?
- Yes. Select the page, click or adjust the placement and change its size while reviewing the preview. The final export uses that placement.
- Are The PDF And Signature Uploaded?
- No. File parsing, preview, signature creation and flattened PDF export run locally in the browser.
