What Is the Concrete Calculator?

The Concrete Calculator handles rectangular slabs, circular slabs and round columns. It reports measured volume, waste-adjusted cubic yards, nominal 50, 60 and 80 pound dry-mix bag equivalents and ready-mix material cost.

How It Works

Choose the shape, enter the finished dimensions, set a waste allowance and optionally enter the supplier's cubic-yard price. Round the result to the supplier's order increment and verify form dimensions before the pour.

When to Use It

Use it for early slab, pad and simple round-column takeoffs. Structural thickness, reinforcement, subbase, footings, local code and truck minimums require project-specific confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Many Cubic Feet Are In A Cubic Yard?
There are 27 cubic feet in one cubic yard.
Are Bag Yields Exact?
No. The displayed bag equivalents use common nominal yields. Product yield, mixing water, consolidation and waste vary, so follow the bag manufacturer's coverage information.
